02 / What I Do

Engineering across the whole product.

My strongest work happens where frontend engineering, product thinking, and execution meet. I enjoy building the experience people see—and solving the technical problems that make it work.

I care about the details, but I never lose sight of the product.

03 / Approach

From idea to something people can actually use.

Good engineering is more than writing good code. It's about understanding the problem, making sensible decisions, and getting useful software into people's hands.

  1. 01

    Understand the Problem

Start with the user, the business need, and the constraints. The goal is to solve the right problem before deciding how to build it.

  2. 02

    Build with Intent

Choose the right architecture and tools for the job. Keep the experience intuitive and the codebase maintainable.

  3. 03

    Ship the Product

Take responsibility for the complete delivery process, including integrations, testing, deployment, and release.

  4. 04

    Learn and Improve

A launch isn't the finish line. Real usage, feedback, and product data should inform what happens next.

04 / About Me

Curious by nature. An engineer by profession.A builder at heart.

Hey, I'm Ertu.

I'm a software engineer based in Bucharest, Romania, with more than a decade of experience building digital products.

My background started in web development and naturally expanded into mobile applications, backend systems, e-commerce, and product engineering.

Over the years, I've worked across different teams, technologies, and industries. I've built products for businesses, helped turn ideas into working applications, and launched my own software projects.

What I enjoy most is the process of making things real.

I like working close to the product, understanding how people use it, and finding practical solutions to technical challenges.

Whether I'm building a mobile app, designing a frontend architecture, connecting third-party services, or preparing a release, I care about creating something that works well and feels right.

Outside software, I spend a fair amount of time playing chess. Sometimes that interest turns into another side project.

I believe the best software comes from people who care about both how it works and why it exists.

05 / Experience

Built through experience. Driven by curiosity.

More than a decade of building interfaces, applications, and products across different environments—from collaborative engineering teams to independent product launches.

Have something interesting in mind?

I'm always interested in meaningful products, ambitious engineering challenges, and working with people who care about what they build.

If you're putting together a great product team or have something worth discussing, I'd love to hear about it.
